In a 1:1 service model, the BCBA will hold sessions and work directly with the client.
BCBA will

conduct initial assessments and evaluations

establish specific goals and targets in agreement with parent, caregiver, or teacher

implement strategies directly with client to progress on goals
Parent and Caregivers will
​

meet with BCBA on a regular basis to learn about and receive training on methods utilized in BCBA's direct sessions with client
-
implement behavioral strategies in the home, community, or school setting
-
promote generalization of skills or methods outside of BCBA's direct sessions with client
