Functional Behavioral Assessment

Functional Behavior Assessment includes conducting interviews with parents, caregivers, or staff regarding current concerns, direct observation of situations where problem behaviors occur, and completion of other indirect assessments to conclude potential functions of a behavior.

Functional Analysis

Functional Analysis includes setting up situations to evoke problem behavior. We will evaluate different situations and specific responses following the behavior to determine the function or variables that are maintaining the behavior.

Structural Analysis

Structural Analysis includes setting up and evaluating different antecedent variables to determine their impact on eliciting or evoking specific behaviors.

Component Analysis

Component Analysis includes taking a current treatment package and evaluating different aspects of the package to determine which elements are necessary for producing significant behavior changes.

Preference and Reinforcer Assessments

Preference assessment includes identifying items that are highly preferred and determining which items are most preferred. These items may likely serve as effective reinforcers. Different preference procedures that may be conducted:

2. Paired Stimulus
3. Multiple Stimulus with Replacement (MSW)
4. Multiple Stimulus without Replacement (MSWO)
