Babies Can't Wait

Babies Can't Wait provides services for infants and toddlers with special needs and their families. The program provides a coordinated, comprehensive system of services as well as early identification and screening of children with developmental delays and chronic health conditions. The program provides support and strives to help child development.

Children's Medical Services

The Children’s Medical Services (CMS) program supports families caring for children with special health care needs. CMS works with health care providers and community partners to make sure children and youth with chronic medical conditions have access to timely and quality health care services.

Newborn Screening

The Georgia Newborn Screening (NBS) Program is a six-part preventive health care system designed to identify and provide early treatment for 31 selected inherited disorders that otherwise would cause significant morbidity or death.

The Katie Beckett Waiver allows for individuals with disabilities who at 18 years old or younger to access Medicaid benefits regardless of family income.

Champions for Children

Champions for Children provides support to children up to age 18 who have applied for Katie Beckett and received a level of care denial. The individual may live at home and have a physical, cognitive, developmental, or medical disability.​

As a solo provider, I understand that my schedule often fills quickly. I hope all families are able to seek out and secure the support they need. Please find a list of different ABA agencies in Georgia as well as agencies for speech therapy and occupational therapy.
